Here you can modify the delay time until a menu appears :


- HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Control Panel\Desktop\


Navigate to MenuShowDelay in the right pane and right click it.
Choose Modify.
Set speed to 100-400.


This is the delay time in ms.
      -Friends  
    -SW In/Deinstallation       -Helpful as well  
    -Network       -News / Articles  
    -User Profile       -History  
    -Access Rights
