    Google Chrome Failed To Initialize
    -OS Related

I found this on techblissonline.com.When you start Google Chrome you may
will be confronted with the following error message:
“The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005).
Click on OK to terminate the application.”

This issue has been basicly reported in connection with "Symantec Endpoint
Protection",but as stated on techblissonline.com it can occure as well without
having any Symantec products installed. To work arround this problem go to:

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SysPlant\

Locate here in the right pane the entry :

Start (DWORD [DWord Value])

Doubleclick this entry and set it's value to 4 to disable the drivers.

Reboot your Computer.

Note:I did not test this as i am not using Google Chrome. You can read the
original post here

There is stated a second option to work arround this problem by editing the
properties of the shortcut you launch Chrome with. You may want to check
that as well.As reported this problem seems to be platform independent
and has been noticed on Vista(SP1) and XP (SP2+SP3).
