To disable the automatic Java Update Checker and Java Update
modify the keys below :


- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Update\Policy\



Locate here in the right pane the entries :


EnableAutoUpdateCheck
EnableJavaUpdate


Doubleclick the entries and set their value to 0.


Restart your computer!
