    Defeat Group Policies
    -OS Related

If found this on tweakxp.com.As described there it eleminates
the ability of the domain to simply re-push the policy back down.
Modifying the permission will prevent the domain
from being able to push a policy to your machine. To do so navigate to :

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\

There will be a Microsoft key and if you have a group policy distributed, a reference to your group policy. For example lets use a key called
Companyx. Key :

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\CompanyX

Select CompanyX and remove all values on the right hand pane window.
Once you have finished change the permissions on the CompanyX key.
(remove inherited permissions).Set the permission for ADMINISTRATOR
and SYSTEM to : Deny All

As described it prevents future writes from you as through group policies. To do
a Clean Up and disabling folder redirection you can read the whole
arcticle - Here! -.

Note:Group Policy and Software distributing Administrators usualy request
a status of the distribution.
